I continued my passion for art by attending the Maryland Institute College of Art where I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography and my Masters of Art in Teaching. I taught middle school art at a private girls' school from 2001 until 2007. Today I am taking a break from teaching to raise my family and bring my dream of selling my art to life. Over the years my work has been featured in a variety of solo and group shows including Postcards from the Road at the Woodward Gallery, and Island Fever, a group show at the Whole Gallery. My work can be found at Hopscotch, a children’s consignment and gift shop in Timonium, Maryland. Mermaids by Meghan has been in the works since 2002 and I am so excited to have it out there for all of you to enjoy! |
Welcome to Mermaids by Meghan – home of Meghan Schaub Fugate’s creations. I grew up loving art and spent lots of my free time drawing and painting. My family and I spent our vacations at the beach and this provided inspiration for my work. |
